MORIN, Madeleine

January 3, 2012 86

MORIN, Madeleine (nee Levesque) - After a long battle with Alzheimer's disease, Madeleine Morin née Levesque (1925- 2011) peacefully passed away with her children by her side at Bloomington Cove in Stouffville, Ontario on December 23rd 2011. Pre-deceased by her husband, Yvon Morin and all her siblings, Madeleine is survived by her five children, Patrick Morin, Suzanne Morin-Yasinowski (Kenneth), Jean-Pierre Morin (Gisele Lamy), Lynn Skillings (Dave Souder) and Jacqueline Proud (Brett), 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She married in Timmins and raised her family in Hanmer, Ontario. She was a wife, a mother and worked many jobs related to the retail industry, until she retired as an Area Representative with Mac's Convenience Stores. She had a strong spirit and a deep profound love for family. Christmas was her most favorite time of the year. She had that special ability to make it “magical“ for all those she loved. It's not surprising to those who knew her well to realize that she chose this special time of year to say goodbye to all of us here and at the same time to say hello to those who will rejoice in having her back by their side. Cremation will be held in Richmond Hill on Tuesday January 3rd, 2012. A memorial service will be held in Hanmer, Ontario in May 2012. Donations in her memory can be made to your local Alzheimer Society. Until we meet again, your presence will always be with us, especially at Christmas. All our love, Patrick, Suzanne, Jean-Pierre, Lynn and Jacko. Arrangements entrusted to Chapel Ridge Funeral Home (905-305- 8508).
