MORLEY, Doreen (nee Woods) - Passed away on Feb 26, 2012 at 88 years of age in Windsor, Ontario. Loving wife of the late Victor Morley (1977). Cherished mother of Chris (Daria) of Manitoulin Island, Karen (Richard) Meretsky of Windsor and Susan (Dean) Morley-Riggs of Espanola. Beloved 'Granny' of Steven (Brigitte) of Garson, Andrew, Natalia (Jacob), Melissa all of Vancouver, Miranda and Delainey of Espanola, Dan (Leslie) of Chicago, Il. Melissa (Chris) of Germantown, Tn. and great-grandmother of Christa and Sunderland. She was born in Warrington, England. While enlisted with the fire services during WWII she met and married Victor (5th Co. Royal Cdn. Combat Engineer/Juno Beach) and settled in Sudbury where she resided for 64 years. She was an avid bridge player, world traveller and volunteer at Science North. If you so desire, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Special thank you to the staff at the Royal Marquis Retirement Home and Hotel Dieu I.C.U and 2nd North. A celebration of Doreen's life will be held in Sudbury at a later date.
