MUNCH, Bernd (Ben) R - In Loving Memory of Bernd “Ben“ R. Munch, 71 years. Peacefully, Wednesday, August 1st, 2012 at the Maison Vale Hospice with his loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Leila (Niemi) Munch. Loving father of Darren (wife Sheila) and David (wife Nicole). Cherished Grandpa of Devan, Kennedy, Sheridan, Alexie and Christian. Dear son of Rudi Munch and Elfreida Armbruster both predeceased. Dear brother of Anne Rosa Kohler (husband Horst). Ben worked at INCO for 35 years including 4 years in Guatemala, retiring in 1993. He then taught stationary engineering at Cambrian College for 6 years. He enjoyed biking, kayaking, tennis and spending time at the family cottage on the West Arm of Lake Nipissing. At Ben's request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Finlandia Village SISU Campaign would be appreciated.
