It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jozsef Nagy Sr. (aka “Birdman”) age 88, who transitioned peacefully to our Lord on June 22/21 at Pioneer Manor in Sudbury. Beloved father of Jozsef Jr. (Lise) of Val Therese and Rose Marie of London Ont.. Survived also by many extended family members in the Sudbury area and relatives in his birth country of Hungary.
Jozsef will be sadly missed by the many close friends he had in this community and around the world. His deep passion for feeding the birds daily in the Sudbury area since retirement was well known. The family would like to recognize his very close friend Mike Palmer who visited him every day in the last few years as his health became a challenge, this very much appreciated by the family.
Special thanks to all the compassionate health care staff at Pioneer Manor who went above and beyond on a daily basis. In keeping with Jozsef’s wishes there will be no service or visitation.
