In Loving Memory of Ida May Newton 75 years, Who passed away Friday June 18th, 2010 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved mother of Joanne Prevost (husband Jean-Marie) and Ellie Lefebvre (husband Roy) both of Noelville. Cherished grandmother of Natalie, Francine, Kimberly and Michael. Dear sister of Dianne Chene (husband Claude), Simone Bourre (husband Edgar) both of Alban, Sarah Gervais (husband Aurel), Violet Shewchuk (friend Murray) both of Sudbury. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Theresa (nee Wilson) Newton, sisters Rose and Jean and brother Patrick. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ida loved blueberry picking and in her younger years had enjoyed playing guitar. At the family’s request there will be no visitation. There will be a committal of ashes at the Alban Cemetery Friday, June 25th, at 2:00 p.m. 2010. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
