In loving memory of Barry Nixon. Barry was born March 10, 1974 in St. John's NL. Barry passed away unexpectedly of heart failure at the Sudbury Health Science North Hospital, on January 16, 2024.
He leaves to mourn his parents Anita & Chris Nixon. His sister Kimberly (Adam), his niece Rory and nephew Finley and many family and friends. He is predeceased by his sister, Madonna Nixon; his biological father, Martin Dunphy; and his biological grandparents Mary and Martin Dunphy and Anastasia & William Leonard and grandparents Edith & Ken Nixon. Barry moved to Edmonton, with his parents, when he was just two years old. He later moved to Ontario when he was 18. He mainly lived in Sudbury where he was living when he passed away.
Barry worked at various jobs with his latest one being at Aaron Taxi as a dispatcher and taxi driver.
While in Sudbury Barry met Kris Erb who later became Barry's best friend and was like a brother to him. The Erb family took Barry in as one of their own. They were like a family away from home.
