O'NEILL, Hugh Joseph - Stettler, Alberta - The family announces with sorrow, his death on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the age of 51. Son of Frank and Monica O'Neill of Copper Cliff. Loving father of Kate, Darby, and Cameron of Stettler, Alberta. Dear brother of James (wife Susan) of Lively, Dan (friend Marilee) of Edmonton, Alberta, Greg (wife Elaine) of Athabasca, Alberta, and Matthew (wife Janis) of Estavan Saskatchewan. Hugh grew up in Copper Cliff Ontario and moved to Alberta as a young adult. As a teenager he was a member of the Copper Cliff Highlanders and played the bag pipes. He enjoyed summers at the family camp on Tyson Lake and spending time with family and friends. In Alberta, Hugh was a devoted father, enjoyed camping at Red River and spending time at his brother's farm in Athabasca. Lovingly remembered by his best friends Bryson and Debbie Gray of Lively, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A service will be held to celebrate his life at his home in Alberta. Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be greatly appreciated.
