OSAWABINE, Sylvester - In loving memory of Sylvester Osawabine, 72 years, passed away at the Little Current Health Center on Thursday, March 22nd, 2012. Dearly loved brother of Thaddeus Lavallee (Bonnie), Rose Beaupre (Ron- predeceased), Wilfred Wemigwans (Evelyn), Thomas Wemigwans (Liz), Veronica Wemigwans (Wendy- predeceased), Henry “Hank“ Wemigwans (Corrine), Vincent Lavallee-pred (Elizabeth), and Joseph Lavallee-predeceased (Rozina). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in Wikwemikong, Sylvester enjoyed passing the day by watching the cars go by and working on jigsaw puzzles with the residents at the nursing home. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to the housekeeping staff whether cleaning or folding the laundry. Sylvester was cared for in a group home in Woodstock, then moved on to North Bay and finally his mother brought him home to Wikwemikong. Resting at St. Anthony Daniel Church, Kaboni. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Grace Church South Bay, on Monday, March 26th, 2012 at 11:00a.m. Interment in Wikwemikonsing Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME.
