OUELLETTE, Dorothy Margaret (Dot) -Passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on October 25th, 2011 in her 88th year. She will be sadly missed by her husband Joseph of 64 years. Dear daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Anne (Denmark) Whalen. Loving mother of Sharon (Ralph) Palmquist, Richard (Tina), Bonnie (George) Caldwell, Holly (Bernie) Gagnon, Tammy (Marvin) MacGregor . Dear sister of Oneta Harmon (late Marshall), Catherine Morin (late Alex), Edith Duff (late Edmund), Robert Whalen (late Thora), Joan Ross (Jim), Ray Whalen (Hilda), Diane Beckett (Gordon), and sister- in-law June Whalen and the late James (Kay) Whalen, Johnny Whalen , Howard (Marg) Whalen, Mona (Bob) Cole, Mary Whalen. Cherished Nana to Tracey, Kerstin (Mike), Tyler (Sarah), Dione (Bryan), Lana (Marty), Jeffrey (Jovanna), Kendall (Vanessa), Kyle (Jennifer), Chad (Jodie), Riley and great grandmother to Zachary, Courtney, Hunter, Koen, Jaden, Ty, Evan, Maya, Katie and soon-to-be baby MacGregor. She was an avid gardener, member of the Horticultural Society, and an active volunteer in the community. She loved the outdoors and spending time with her family at home and at camp. She was a lady of deep faith who loved angels, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 28th at 11 am at the Immaculate Conception Parish. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated
