OUELLETTE, Roger

May 31, 2012 85

OUELLETTE, Roger - In loving memory of Roger Ouellette 85 years. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. “Dost thou love life, then do not squander time, for that's the stuff life is made of.“ Words Roger may as well have said himself, for time he did not squander, time he made the best of time he has given us; lessons he has taught us & stories he has told us. Loving son of the late Alexander and Roseanne (Cuillierier) Ouellette. Brother of the late Doril (Ethel Gardner) and Flossy Joncas (Joe). Cherished and much loved husband of 65 years of Marthe (Chartrand) Ouellette. Son in law to the late Jean-Baptiste and Aurelie Chartrand. Cherished father of Diane Chenier, Gerald (Debbie), Richard (Victoria), Carole (Bill) and Michele Chatelain (Guy). Loving grandfather of Alain, Pierre, Jennifer, Jessica, Steven, Danielle, Renee, Denis, Nicole and Cody. Proud great grandfather of Brooklyn, Blake, Mila, Jasmine, Reed, Chase, Mathieu, Felix and Sophie. Master of his dog Penny. A longtime and retired employee of Falconbridge Ltd., a member of the Chevaliers de Colomb, Hanmer and a veteran bowler at Chico's Bowl, his stories, his humour and his cheers will be missed by many friends and family. His many and much loved nieces and nephews of the Ouellette, Martin, Joncas and Chartrand families will also miss his forever fun loving spirit. His wish for peace taught us to live and let live, love folks for who they are, always make the most of life and always be happy. His many and varied stories may lie with him now, but never will they be forgotten. As requested by him and promised by us, we will celebrate his life and not fear/grieve his loss. The stories will remain as we all, were surely part of them. Visitations at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME - Hanmer/Capreol Chapel 4605 Michelle Dr., Hanmer Friday from 2 to 4 and after 6 PM.
