The close friends of Anton “Tony” George (Olyowski) Owens wish to announce his passing at home on March 9, 2024. Predeceased by his wife Linda (née Graham) Owens, his brother William “Bill” Donald (Olyowski) Owens and his parents William George Olyowski and Anne (née Kasturkoff) Owens.
He enjoyed puttering around the yard at home and at his summer camp on Lake Penage. His favourite past time was coffee at Tim Hortons, where the conversations were lively, and the people were friendly.
Tony loved cars and attending car shows in Southern Ontario and Upper Michigan. The number of T shirts he owned having dates and pictures of cars, attests to this fact.
A memorial service will be held at Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury, on March 16, 2024, at 2PM.
