PAAJANEN, Beatrice - In Loving Memory of Beatrice Paajanen, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beatrice Liisa Paajanen November 16th, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, after a short illness. She was much loved by her husband, Erkki Paajanen (predeceased) and her children Kim, Lynn and Michael. She was the cherished Mummo of Jessica, Samantha, Julianna, Alan, Jackson and Erik. She will be missed by her cat Snuggles. Bea was born in Viipuri, Finland April 16th, 1928. She came to Canada in 1949. She always worked hard throughout her life to provide for her family. She married Erkki Paajanen and moved to Florida. She returned to live in Sudbury to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Her family was always a priority and she was always willing to help or just to listen. She lived for visits from her family to their many pets. Her favourite pastimes were gardening, feeding her birds and black squirrels and playing cards. Her last game of “500“ she won while in the hospital. She knitted everyone “Mummo socks“. She is remembered constantly and will leave a big hole in our hearts. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff on the 6th floor of the hospital and Dr. Mailloux for their exceptional efforts to help and care for her. At Bea's request there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Pet Save would be appreciated as he had a soft spot for all animals.
