PALMARO, Adelma - passed away peacefully on November 10, 2012 at Finlandia Nursing Home in Sudbury. Adelma was the daughter of Enio and Ines Palmaro of Sudbury (predeceased) and the sister of Ivano (Moe) Palmaro (predeceased) and the sister-in-law of Yolanda Palmaro (predeceased). Adelma was a favourite aunt to Robert Palmaro (wife Claire), Debra Palmaro (predeceased), Lynda Lyndsay (husband Ian) and Sandra Palmaro (husband John Hawkes) and their children Claire Jr., Gina, Sara, Cameron, Siena, Emma and Francesca. Dear cousin to Ivana Plos. In addition to family, Adelma had many, many close friends and led an active social life right up until her final months. Born and raised in Sudbury, Adelma was well-respected in medical circles as one of the top medical secretaries in the city, and she continued to work part-time well past retirement. A world traveler, amazing chef and fashionista extraordinaire, her friendship and love will be greatly missed. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick's Church, 39 Walford Rd., Sudbury, Wednesday, November 14th, 2012 at 1pm. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Sudbury Catholic Cemetery. Donations to the Inner City Home Food Bank would be appreciated. Friends may gather at the church after 12:45pm Wednesday. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME.
