In loving memory of Jeannette Papineau (nee Godon) 77 years. Passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024.
Jeannette was the best mom to her only son Guy Papineau. Adopted mother of Mike Beauchamp. Cherished grandma to Anna (Brandon Laface), and Nick Boileau and great grandmother of Cynthia, and Beau (mother Natalie Papineau). Predeceased by her parents David Godon and Yvette Thibeault (Albert also predeceased), brothers Armand, Eddie, and Marcel, and sister Rita.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sister Tina Landry (Dennis predeceased), special brother Larry MacLaren, Dot Papineau, nieces, nephews, family, and friends and her canine companion Cocotte.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff, nurses, PSW’s and doctors, especially Dr. Bonin at Health Sciences North for their care and compassion.
Jeannette was born in Cartier on May 14th, 1946. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed having family and friends over for meals. She enjoyed sewing and was a very skilled seamstress. She loved fishing, playing cards, and being with family and friends. Jeannette was always happy, and she left us with a lot of memories that we will cherish in our hearts forever.
There will be no visitation or service. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with burial in the spring at Lasalle Cemetery.
