It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia Maria Parisotto (née Vizza) announce her passing on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 at Health Sciences North with loving family at her side at the young age of 57.
Patricia lived life to the fullest, embracing family and friends and generously sharing her positive outlook on life, which endeared her to many. Her infectious smile lit up every room she entered, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Patricia will be remembered as a patient, caring soul who always put others first and offered genuine, heartfelt advice.
Throughout her courageous journey with cancer, Patricia maintained her dignity and never sought pity or focused on discussions about her health. She refused to let the disease define her, living each day on her own terms and celebrating life and love with unwavering strength.
As a well-respected teacher, Patricia possessed a unique gift for helping children with behavioural issues succeed. She dedicated the majority of her 32-year career to Chelmsford Public School, forging cherished friendships along the way. After retiring, she found immense joy in thrift shopping with her mother, Teresa, and turned her love for restoring and reselling second-hand purses into a thriving business.
When Patricia wasn't at the thrift store with her mom, you could often find them enthusiastically shouting "BINGO!" or trying their luck at the casino.
Patricia had a special passion for golf, which she enjoyed most when playing with her husband, her daughter Carlee, friends, and her late mother-in-law, Lucy. Patricia had a deep love for music and dance, frequently having living room dance parties with her daughter, Natalee, and attending concerts with her friends and family. In recent years, she and her Husband, Rob, embraced the warmth of Florida winters, basking in the sun by the beach, sharing laughter, and swimming in the saltwater. The only thing missing was her beloved Fur baby, Toby, who some might say was her favourite child.
Patricia’s number one priority was her family, especially her precious daughters. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Beloved wife of Rob. Loving mother of Carlee (Jean-Sébastien), Natalee (Stéphane) and Fur baby, Toby. Dear daughter of Teresa and Luigi (predeceased) Vizza. Cherished sister of Rita Sorenson (Alex) and Dan Vizza (Jody). Treasured aunt to Erica (Teal), Nick (Katie), Joe (Nicole), Andrew, Cristina (Vincenzo), Giuliana and Marco. Special daughter-in-law to Pasquale and Lucy Parisotto (predeceased). Adored sister-in-law of Larry and Nicoletta Parisotto. Sadly missed by many great nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Donations in memory of Patricia may be made to the Sudbury Cancer Center or Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
Memorial Mass at St- Patrick’s Church 39 Walford Road, Sudbury. Tuesday, October 24th, 2023, at 10:30am. Cremation with entombment at the Civic Cemetery Mausoleum.
