PARRIS, Hellen (née Vasil)It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing at Maison Vale Hospice on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the age of 73 years. Daughter of Simion Vasiliou and Dosta Vasilion (néeVoinoun). Loving mother of Charlotte Vassel, Darrin Allison and Misty Allison. Predeceased by her daughter Stacey Allison. Dear sister to Francis Alushi, Paul Vasiliou, Victoria Atkinson and predeceased by her brother Peter Vasiliou. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be held July 2, 2012 at 11a.m. in the Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury. A celebration of her life shall take place 40 days after her passing in her hometown of Toronto. Donations (by cheque only) to the Maison Vale Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
