PENDER, June (nee Snaith) - In Loving Memory of June Pender (nee Snaith) 81 years Monday, November 7th, 2011 after a long courageous battle with cancer with her loving family at her side at the Maison Vale Hospice. Beloved wife of Mervin “Merv“ predeceased 2008. Loving mother of Ronald (Glenda), Jayne Munroe (Bud), James all of Sudbury, Robert (Wendy) of Bowmanville and Donald of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Cindy Minette, Lindsay (Justin Dacey), Jessica Munroe (Adam Blais), Drew, Kyle and Courtney Pender. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Ora Barton (husband Alf), Gertrude Fitzpatrick (Wade) (husband Lou), Harold (wife Rita), Theresa Cooper, Idella Marat, William, Robert and Charles. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. June was a long time member of Hillside, Knox and Calvin Presbyterian Churches and she was an avid bowler and loved to knit. A Memorial Service will be held in the R.J. Barnard Chapel JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St., Sudbury Thursday, November 10th, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation with interment at Civic Cemetery. Donations to the Maison Vale Hospice, Northern Cancer Research Foundation or SRHF - Heart Equipment Fund would be appreciated.
