PHILLIPS, Carol L. (nee Krezek) - In Loving Memory of Carol L. Phillips (nee Krezek), 70 years, Tuesday, October 18th, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved wife of Nelson Phillips predeceased 2002. Loving mother of Tim, Tamara (Kevin Quinlan) and Terry. Cherished grandmother of Mathieu, Keanna, Jesse and Olivia. Loving daughter of Michael predeceased and Olive (Renner) Krezek of Sault Ste. Marie. Dear sister of Kim Ross (Dan) and sister-in-law of Janet Gottschalk (Henry deceased) and Robert Phillips (Debbie). Dear aunt of Katie, Darren, Allen and Debbie. Carol will be deeply missed by the “Golden Girls“ and many other close friends. She was a dedicated volunteer for the MS Society, the Sudbury Curling Club and many other organizations. Carol was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi for 53yrs, the Red Hats and a proud Burnt Lake camper. She loved to golf, curl and garden. Carol was always the happiest when surrounded by her family especially her grandchildren. She was one to put others before herself and leaves a rich legacy of love and commitment. “We love you Mama Bear“. Funeral Service will be held in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury, Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 2pm. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Autism Society would be appreciated. (Friends may call from 2-5 & 7-9pm Friday and after 12noon Saturday).
