PIQUETTE, Yvonne (née Poirier) - The family announces with sorrow her death in Sudbury, Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the age of 84 years. Daughter of the late Ernest and the late Marianne (née Lacourcière) Poirier. Dearly loved and missed by her special friend Léo Richer of Sudbury. Loving mother of Marcel Piquette of St-Catharines, Roger Piquette of St Thomas, Gisèle Servant (Raymond), Raymond “Reese“ Piquette (Kelly) and Pauline Lavigne (André) all of Sudbury. Predeceased by her daughter Suzanne Piquette. Dear sister of Cécile Crépeau (Johnny) of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by her sisters Suzanne Davis, Rita Legault, Naida Valade and brother Aurèle Poirier. Cherished grandmother to 13 grandchildren. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, Monday, April 16, 2012 , from 2-5 and 7-8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in St-Anne-des- Pins Church, Sudbury.
