PLANTE, Richard - In loving memory of Richard Plante 63 years Peacefully Thursday, July 5th, 2012 at Health Sciences North with loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Kim (Macey) Plante. Loving father of Jamie Plante (Jenny) and Bridgette Plante (Jason). Cherished Papa to Brooke. Dear son of Alcide and Francoise Plante predeceased. Dear brother of Raynald Plante predeceased, Madeleine Leduc (Raymond predeceased), Norm Plante (Marie), Raymonde Gerow (Roger), Claudette Hillman (Paul), René Plante predeceased, Onil Plante, Connie Heise, Guy Plante (Wendy), Lise Vale (Larry) and André Plante (Heather). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Richard had been a meat cutter at various local stores, having owned and operated Bellevue Quality Meats for 16 years. He retired from LOEB/Metro in 2006. He enjoyed the outdoors, where he hunted, fished, camped and golfed. Richard was devoted to his family and he was happiest when in their company. He will be remembered as a happy man who truly appreciated life. The light of his life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. At Richard's request there will be no funeral visitation or service. Cremation. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brain Injury Association would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the JACKSON and BARNARD FUNERAL HOME.
