PLAUSINI, Alexander - In Loving Memory of Alexander “Alex“ Plausini, 83 years. It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden peaceful passing of Alexander (Alex) Plausini, Tuesday November 8th, 2011 at the Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Arsenault) Plausini of Sudbury. Loving father of James (wife Tara) of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Tristan (Papa Al). Dear brother of Joe (wife Mary) of Hamilton. Predeceased by his parents Victor and Frances (nee Januskyte) Plausini and his sister Anne (late husband Dick Robertson). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews Theresa (husband Chris), Joanne (husband Dan), Richard, John, Shaun (husband Dino), Kim (husband John), Lisa (husband Jeff) and Mark and 11 great nieces and nephews. Alex had been a Stationary Engineer with Inco retiring after 38 years of dedicated service. He was known to be mechanically inclined, helping with projects of all kinds and always ready to give a helping hand to neighbours and strangers alike. He also enjoyed reading. He was a devout catholic and very spiritual man. Alex will be remembered as a wonderful loving husband and family man who took pride in his family's activities and accomplishments. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. S. Sudbury. Funeral Mass at the Holy Redeemer Church 1887 Bancroft Drive, Monday November 14th, 2011, at 11 a.m. Prayers at 4 pm Sunday. Donations to the Right to Life or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Interment in Civic Cemetery. (Friends may call 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm Sunday).
