Antonio Polifroni, born February 12, 1944 in Cimina, Reggio Calabria, ltaly. Passed away July 25, 2023, at Extendicare York from prostate cancer. Antonio came to Sudbury in 1963 and worked at Cecutti's Bakery but is best known for being a great carpenter. His skills were recognized throughout the city in building many homes but was best known for his finishing work inside many houses and buildings. Antonio was very proud of his home he build on Southview Dr. for his family and in his earlier years loved taking care of his garden. There were many fond memories of him singing and listening to Italian music. Antonio is survived by his wife of nearly 54 years, Francesca his daughter Marina Villeneuve (husband Dave) and granddaughter Alessandra of North Bay and his son Roberto (wife Nicole) and grandson Brixton and granddaughter Quinn. He was predeceased by his parents Rocco and Giuseppa Polifroni. Sisters Carmela Preteroti (Bruno) and Rosa Galimi (Domenico) both of ltaly, and brother Vincenzo(Ida). Survived by brother Nicola (Francesca), sister Domenica leropoli (Antonio) brother Phil (Nicole) all of Sudbury.
