POLLESEL, Helen Magdalen “Maggie“ - After a courageous battle with cancer, we announce with heavy hearts the passing of Helen Magdalen (Maggie) Pollesel on Sunday, August 12, 2012 in her 75th year. A resident of Rondeau Bay, and formerly of Sudbury, Maggie was the beloved wife of Edward of 50 years. Cherished mother of Julie Clendenning (Jim) of Blenheim, Dina Cimino (Gino) of London and Stacy Paneras (Jamie) of London. Proud and loving grandmother of Kate, Maggie, Ann, Jill and Jed Clendenning, Eric, Andrea, Alex, Anthony and Laura Cimino, Emily, Andrew and Nicholas Paneras. Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Julia (Duras) Brugos. Daughter-in-law of the late Vincenzo and Leonilda (Galet) Pollesel. Cherished sister of John Brugos (Rosemarie) of Whitby, (late Helen, and late Evelyn) and Ernie Brugos (Cecile) of Sudbury. Dear sister-in-law of Gino Pollesel (late Shirley) of Sudbury and Bruno Pollesel (Cely) of Sudbury. Maggie will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street, E., on Thursday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held on Thursday at 7:00p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Church, 26 George Street, Ridgetown at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2012 with Fr. Martin Johnston celebrant. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the London Regional Cancer Centre, the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance – Oncology Department or St Michael's Church Restoration Fund would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to recognize and sincerely thank all the staff at the London Regional Cancer Centre, Chatham-Kent Hospital , CCAC as well as Dr. Morrison, Dr. Sherwin and Dr. Clendenning and their staff for the compassionate care given to our mother and wife. We would especially like to acknowledge and thank Lisa and Claire for their wonderful care.
