POPIWCZAK, Nick - In Loving Memory of Nick Popiwczak, 89 years Saturday, March 17th, 2012 at the Pioneer Manor. Beloved husband of Anna (Kundratyk) Popiwczak predeceased March 14th, 1997. Loving father of Steve of Sudbury. Dear son of Michael and Anastasia Popiwczak both predeceased. Dear brother of Ted of Alberta, predeceased by John, Steve and Maria. Born in the Ukraine, he came to Canada in 1947. Nick worked at the INCO Iron Ore Plant for 36 years, retiring in 1984. He was a longtime member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church and the Ukrainian Seniors' Club. Funeral Visitation in the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St., Sudbury Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 40 Notre Dame Ave Thursday, March 22nd, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
