PORLIER, Rose (née Dionne) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the age of 100 years. Daughter of the late François Xavier and of the late Marie Louise (née Chenier) Dionne. Wife of the late René Porlier. Beloved mother of Léo (Claire), Cécile Landry (Étienne) and Aline Nadeau (Rhéal) all of Sudbury, Rolande Prévost (late Émilien) of Garson, Maurice (Rose) of Toronto and Noël (Hélène) of Astorville. Predeceased by her sons Robert and Jean- Marie. Also predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Albert, Léon, Noël, Paul, Roland, Eugène, Blanche Potvin, Lilianne Chartrand and Anna Lacasse. Sadly missed by her 18 grandchildren, 23 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Yvette Porlier of Sudbury and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre- Dame), Sudbury, Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 1-5 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury.
