Louise Potvin (née Poisson)
1946-2023
The family wishes to announce the passing of Louise Poisson on November 21st, 2023, at the Oliver general hospital in British Columbia at the age of 76.
Dear wife to John Potvin for 57 years and had three children Donald, Andre and Claude. Grandmother to Shawn, Eric, Jennifer (2022) and Jessica. And Size great grandchildren. Born in Timmins, Ontario, her father was Ovide Poisson, and her mother was Edith Poisson nee St Germain. Her beloved brothers Ronald her brother Paul, Guy and Jean Marc. Her dear sisters Denise, Madeline and Jannine.
Louise was very outgoing, and she spent a lot of time playing sports as a young child. She moved to Sudbury she worked in insurance and at the workers compensation board for many years. Entrepreneurial spirit with managing her own store the "curio shop ". Many years in West tree and French River with her family and many close friends, always in the outdoors hunting and fishing and late-night campfires. She was very welcoming and a great hostess with her big smile and get up and go personality. She was a great cook people love to eat her lasagna or spaghetti and her pierogies she'll always be known for a big Christmas dinners and her generous and inclusive nature. She will be sorely missed.
A private funeral was held at the Lougheed Funeral Home in Sudbury.
