It is with profound sadness that Tony Poulin passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, on November 9, 2022 at the age of 75 years old. He was born August 4, 1947 in Montcerf, Québec and was son of the late Dolard Poulin and Maria (née Rozon). Tony is survived by his loving wife Simone Poulin (née Bradley). Father to Tina and Tammy, step-father to Alain (Julie) and Lee-Anne. Proud and loving step-grandfather to Jessica, Jonathan, Sheila and Mekin. Brother to Raymond, Rhéal, Christiane, Aline, Raymonde (Pat), Céline all from Ottawa and Gatineau. Predeceased by his brother Robert and sister Claire. Survived by his mother-in-law Marielle Bradley (late Conrad), sister-in-law Carmen and brothers-in-law Normand and Claude.
Tony moved from Québec to work 31 years for Falconbridge mining. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, but most of all he enjoyed cooking. A big Thank You to the Home Care Nurses at St-Gabriel’s Villa, and the emergency department at Health Sciences North for their compassion and care.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Donations can be made by cheque or online to the Alzheimer’s Society.
