With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Susan Katherine Powell, March 29, 2024, in Sudbury, at the age of 70 years.
She passed away on Good Friday peacefully with her family at her side. Daughter of the late Gordon Emmerson and the late Muriel Daugherty. Loving mother of Jason (Cynthia) and Melissa (Robert.) Susan will be warmly remembered and missed by her grandchildren, Hayden, Liberty, Austin, Brittany, and Ryan. Susan was also a great grandmother to Ellie. Dear sister to Gloria (Pat) Gordon, Gale, and the late Garry (Caroll.) Susan was a strong, beautiful and blessed soul who fought very hard until the end.
Anyone who knew Susan, would say she is the kindest person, who was very graceful and always remained positive. She would light up any room she entered with her caring and beautiful soul. She will be truly missed by all that loved her, especially by her family. You will always be our sunshine.

A memorial service for Susan will take place at the Civic Memorial Cemetery, 365 2nd Ave N, Sudbury, on May 10, 2024, starting at 1:00 pm.
