PROULX, Cécile (née Denis) - It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Gatineau, Qc on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012 at the age of 81 years. Daughter of the late Louis and late Marie Jeanne (née Beaudette) Denis. Predeceased by her husband Léopold Allen Proulx in 2003. Loving mother of Léo Denis (Rita) of Hanmer, Carole Proulx (Wolfgang Delfing), Claudette Proulx (Peter Thomas) all of Gatineau, Qc and Daniel Proulx of Montreal, Qc. Dear sister of Lucienne Raymond (late Noël) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Odile Chenier (late Armand), Adelard Denis (late Eugénie), Joe Denis (late Évélyna), Alcide Denis (Germaine of Hanmer), Albert (late Léonide), Jeanne Thibeault (late Mark), Jean Denis, Thérèse Bourgeois (late Paul- Émile) and Madeleine Trudel (late Lucien). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Hélène, Roxanne, Sophie, Nathalie, Stéphanie, Vicky, by her great-grandchildren Chantal, Natasha, Vanessa and by her great-great- granddaughter Mikayla. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph street, Hanmer, Monday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 29th, 2012 at 11 a.m. in St-Jacques Church Hanmer. Donations (by cheque only) to the Northern Cancer Foundation and the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
