It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved father, son, brother and very special Grandpa, Darren Provincial, who left this world far too soon at the young age of 54. His life was a testament to the strength he had as he fearlessly fought and overcame the challenges that came from his stroke 12 years ago, proving his resilience, determination, and stubbornness until the end, making the most of every single day.
Proud father of Kristin McIntyre (Cameron), Wyatt Provincial (Cassandra), Emma Provincial (Brad), and Jake Deschamps (predeceased). Forever having a special place in his heart for Jessica & Chelsea Legault. Beloved son to Lorne Provincial (Ida) & Sandi Graham (Tom). The best big bro to Tim Provincial (Deidre) & Alf Provincial (Lise). Darren is also remembered by his niece and nephews, Kyle, Steven, Nicholas, Braden, and Jade.
Among the many roles that Darren cherished, being a loving grandpa held a special place in his heart. He leaves behind his three best buddies Daxton, Paisley & Mason. He absolutely adored his three grandkids, and they, in turn, loved their grandpa who was their ultimate partner in crime. In his own words, “There is only one rule at grandpa’s... and that is NO rules!”. He filled their lives with laughter, candies, and unconditional love.
We give our heartfelt gratitude to Tammy (BTT) for her unwavering love, support, and companionship throughout the last few years. Her presence brought comfort, joy, and a sense of freedom to him and we are deeply appreciative of the care and love she showed. Tammy you are truly extraordinary, and his saving grace.
Darren was a man who could brighten the darkest of days with his infectious humor and endless wit. His kindness touched the hearts of so many people…unless he didn’t like you. Darren was the person who would drop everything to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, at any given time. He lived a life of selflessness, always putting others before himself.
Special thanks to Dr. Frood, some staff at the March of Dimes, and his favorite worker Rahul for their care, support and most importantly their patience.
In true Darren fashion, please join us to celebrate his life with a party at the Falconbridge Legion, Saturday November 25th, 2023, starting at 4pm.
