QUAIATTINI, Zelio - In loving memory of Zelio Quaiattini, peacefully, Tuesday, July 3rd, 2012 at the Health Sciences North. Beloved husband of Stella (Siwicki) Quaiattini. Loving father of Robert (wife Denise), Michael (wife Lisa) and Peter (wife Nadine). Cherished Nonno of Andrea and Jessica. Dear son of Luigi and Giulia Quaiattini predeceased. Dear brother of Walter (wife Adele) and predeceased by Lietta. Sadly missed by loving nieces, nephews and relatives. Zelio worked for the City of Sudbury for over 20 years retiring in 1993. He was a well respected leader and dedicated volunteer in the community helping many organizations and boards. He was a member of Fogalar Furlan Club, a board member of the Nickel Basin Federal Development Corp., a director of the St. Joseph Health Center. He assisted in getting the mausoleum repaired. He was an organizer for the Memorial Mass for the Furlan deceased members. A proud Canadian he also was proud of his Italian heritage and he wanted to reclaim his Italian Citizenship. He was a director with the Northbury Hotel. A devout Roman Catholic he was a Eucharistic minister and reader at Our Lady of Hope Parish and a reader at St. Joseph's Villa. He was devoted to his family. The light of his life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Hope Church, 591 Brennan Road, Sudbury Saturday, July 7th, 2012 at 10 a.m. Cremation with entombment in the family mausoleum at the Sudbury Catholic Cemetery. Parish Prayers 3 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, donations to Maison Vale Hospice would be appreciated. Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 p.m. Friday.
