RABSKI, Jozef “Joe“ - In Loving Memory of Jozef “Joe“ Rabski, 85 years. Peacefully, Friday, March 29th, 2013 at Health Sciences North. Beloved husband of Alice (Lagace) Rabski. Loving father or Henry (wife Mariola), Stanley (wife Lisa) and Teddy (wife Paula). Cherished Dzadziu of Jessica, Jason, Steven, Emily and Matthew. Dear son of Jan and Maria Rabski predeceased. Dear brother of Ewgenia Zwolinska and predeceased by one sister. Sadly missed by relatives in Poland. Born and raised in Poland, Jozef came to Canada as a young man. He married Alice (Lagace) in 1955 in Sudbury. He was a craneman at the Copper Refinery having 42 years at INCO retiring in 1992. He was a member of St. Casimir's Church and the Polish Club (Frood Rd.). He enjoyed blueberry and mushroom picking and travelling with his wife. He was devoted to his loving family and he was happiest when in their company. Funeral Visitation at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. (Friends may call 3-5; 7-9 p.m. Tuesday with parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday). Funeral Mass in St. Casimir's Church, 210 Paris St., Sudbury, Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013 at 10 a.m. Entombment in the Civic Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Casimir's Church or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
