RACICOT, Gérard J. (1933-2011) - The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury, Saturday November 26, 2011, at the age of 78 years. Son of the late Sal Racicot and the late Philomène (née Gauthier) Racicot. Predeceased by his wife Lorraine Racicot. Loving father of Gisèle Boutot (Thomas), Raymond (Pauline) both of Sudbury and Daniel (Gina) of Vancouver. Predeceased by his daughter Suzanne (Philip Bernier of Sudbury) and by his son Marc. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Christine Warwick (Eric) of Buckingham, PQ, Stéfan Méthot (Jennifer), Tammy Breit (Keith) both of Sudbury and Marc Vincent (Deborah) of Aylmer, PQ and his great-grandchildren Tyler, Owen, Gabriel, Alexander and Nathan. Survived by his sisters Marianne Bourdon (Laurier) of Sudbury, Lina Champigny (Lorenzo) of Tedford Mines, PQ and his brother Alphonse (Diane) of Sudbury. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Gérard worked for 37 years as a Plant Protection and First Aid Officer at INCO Limited. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid photographer in his early years. Gérard spent many years on Agnew Lake were he found peace and tranquility. The family will receive friends at St-Andrew the Apostle Church, Tuesday August 7, 2012 after 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements in care of THEORET BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls.
