Marianne Catherine Rainville, age 65, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Stratford General Hospital. Born in Verner, ON daughter of the late Alpherie and Isaure (Dauphinais) Rainville. Marianne is survived by her siblings Jeannette Dalcourt (Romeo Roy), Thérèse Coursol, Lauraine Blais, Rev. Sister Liane Rainville, Lucille Smith, Suzanne (Gilles) Leroux, Paul (Olga)Rainville, Lise Depatie, Catherine Rainville (Michel Robert), and Coco (Paul) Lariviere.  Marianne will be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Freda Rainville, Louise Rainville, Muriel Rainville and her brother-in-law Yves Forest her many nieces and nephews along with her great nieces, nephews and cousins. Marianne was predeceased by her sisters Lina in infancy, Fleurette Gallen, Paulette Kirkwood, Angele Forest her brothers Jean Rainville, Lucien Rainville, Marcel Rainville, her brothers-in-law Ernie Gallen, Jim Kirkwood, Joe Coursol, Bert Blais, Richard Audette and Gerry Depatie. Marianne was a long-term employee with Schaeffler Canada (Aerospace Division) for 36 years before her illness. Marianne took great pride in her house with her beautiful yard and flowers. Also, her greatest past time was doing puzzles and spending time with her many friends. The family would like to sincerely thank all the wonderful doctors and nurses at Stratford General Hospital for the care and compassion given to Marianne. It is very much appreciated. In keeping with Marianne’s wishes cremation will take place, and her remains will be laid to rest in the family plot in Sudbury.
