RAINVILLE, Maurice Edouard - With great sadness, the family of Maurice Rainville announces his passing in Val Caron on Monday, February 7th, 2011 at the age of 57 years. Beloved husband of Pauline Rainville (née Pelland) of Hanmer. Son of the late Alphonse Rainville and of the late Anita Rainville (née Arbour) of Lavigne. Loving father of Christopher Rainville of Clarington and Renée Rainville (Ken Boucher) of Hanmer. Very special stepfather of Natalie Godin (Robin) and Nicole Roberge (Anthony). Cherished grandfather of Breana Rainville, Brayden Boucher, Alexandre Godin and Anthony Roberge. Dear brother of Florian (Pierrette White) of Sudbury, André (Cécile Coutu) of Hanmer, Denis (Ginette Piette) of Verner, Gisèle (Fern St-George) of Lavigne, Francine (Jean-Claude Giroux) of Verner, Noëlla (Claude Lamarche) of Sudbury and Pierrette (Guy Piette) of Verner. Predeceased by brothers Lucien (Thérèse Gagnon) of Lavigne, Edgar (late Diane Lajeunesse) of Lavigne and sister Solange of Lavigne. Maurice will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, too numerous to mention, which is a testament to the love and friendship he generously shared with everyone he met. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Bayshore Nursing, specifically to Alice and Natalie, his nurses who cared for him so vigilantly every day, as well as to the Palliative Care Department of the SRHRS. Visitation will be held at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame) Sudbury, Thursday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Ste-Marguerite d'Youville Church, Val Thérèse.
