RIVET, Joyce (née Simonen) - The family announces with sorrow her death in Sudbury on Thursday, December 13th, 2012 at the age of 83 years. Wife of the late Roger Rivet (predeceased 2009). Daughter of the late Toivo and the late Laura (née Trudeau) Simonen. Beloved mother of Maurice Rivet and Elaine Sternall (Mark) both of Toronto, Connie Pitre (Michel), Patricia Rivet, Michael Rivet (Denise) and Iris Campeau (Guy) all of Sudbury. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Anthony, Christy-Ann, Jonathan, Natalie, Stephen, Jason, Sarah, Daniel, Joshua, Mathieu, Genevieve, Leah, Larissa, Allison and her great-grandchildren Ryan, Dylan, Carter, Riley, Hudson, Wesley, Isabelle, Timothy, Kassidy, Trinity, Ocean, Anthony, Zakkery, Jaydon and Rylan. Joyce will be remembered as an active member in women's ministries at Glad Tidings Tabernacle and her love of flowers and hummingbirds at her cottage. Devoted to her family and reunited with the love of her life Roger. The family expresses its appreciation to the 3rd floor staff at Extendicare Falconbridge for their kind and compassionate care. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, Dec 22, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
