In Loving Memory of Janine (nee Charbonneau) Ross, 83 years. Peacefully, Friday, July 14, 2023, at St. Gabriel’s Villa with loving family at her side.
Beloved wife of Leonard Ross (predeceased). Cherished mother of Anne (Yvon Boudreau), Lynne (Jim Guerin) and Julie (Vincent Wissell). Loving grandmother to Alex (Caroline), Zachary (Kaleigh), Sophie (David), Jasmine (Justin), Nicolas (Maxime), Martin, Mathieu and Valerie and great grandmother to Luka, Jakob, Jani, Liam, Caleb, Zoe, Lea, Ariel, Emilie, Pierre and Jacques.
Daughter of Omer and Leda (Proulx) Charbonneau. Sister of Gisele, Jean-Marie, Liette, Lucie, Andree (all predeceased) and Raymond (Betty), Guy (Gertrude), Gaetane, Adolphe (Suzanne).
Janine began teaching at the age of 18 and taught for over 30 years. She was very involved with St. Jacques Church and sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Golden Age Club in Hanmer.
Janine loved music, singing, dancing and golfing. She loved to entertain children and was the life of the party. Without her love for family and gatherings we would not be the family we are today.
Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home – Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer. Friends may call 4-8pm, Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Funeral Mass in St. Jacques Church, 46 Cote Boulevard, Hanmer, Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 11am. Cremation with interment in the family plot at St. Jacques Cemetery.
