ROSSI, June

April 15, 2013

ROSSI, June (Primeau) - Surrounded by her loving family, June passed away on April 13, 2013. June will now be able to dance with the love of her life and soul mate Louis Rossi (predeceased 1987). June was a wonderful loving mother, confidant, friend and will be missed by her daughter Kim and son-in-law David Lapierre. Greatly adored by her two grandsons Devin and Keith Lapierre, Memere was their shining light. June will also be greatly missed by her “baby girl“ Nikki, her very loyal feline companion. June is predeceased by her parents Jack & Marie (Lefebvre) Primeau and her brothers Jay and Mel and survived by her brother Ray (Rose) and sister Sharon Rioux (Tom). June worked for the Royal Bank of Canada for over 30 years. June had a great passion for life and her family. She was most proud of her two grandsons who meant the world to her and she meant the world to them. Even in the face of darkness June was strong, courageous, had a wonderful sense of humor and remained so positive. She was extremely appreciative of those around her and our family during this difficult time and we would like to thank our family and friends who have supported us through this journey. We would like to especially thank the Thoms, Sauvé and Sartori families and Desirée Vincent for your unconditional love and support, especially her cousin Jackie Thoms who was by her side every day until the end. June's wonderful and caring neighbor Rosalie, your friendship and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten. The family would also like to sincerely thank the incredible health care professionals who cared for June: Dr. Mailloux and her team, the Northeast Cancer Centre (Dr. Noble, Chemo room team, Nada, and the Pain and Symptom management program). A very special thank you to Gabby, RN with Bayshore, you are an angel, caring and with your help we were able to keep June at home for as long as we did. Finally to the entire team at the Maison Vale Hospice, thank you. Donations to the Maison Vale Hospice or Victoria's Quilts (a wonderful organization that volunteers their time to make beautiful quilts that provide such comfort to cancer patients).
