ROUSSEL, Claude Joseph - In loving memory of Claude Roussel, age 76, who passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Sunday, April 7th, 2013. Beloved husband of Thérèse (née Aubin). Son of the late Omer Roussel and Julia Roussel (née Trahan). Loving father of Yvette Poulin (husband Daniel), Normand and Gary (wife Nathalie). Predeceased by an infant son Pierre in 1965. Sadly missed by his seven grandchildren Robert, Julie, Pascal, Melissa, Tyler, Emilie-Rose and Joëlle. Dear brother of Ludovic predeceased (wife Annonciade), Paul (wife Marlene), Sr. Claire Roussel FDLS., Cécile Chartrand (husband Ernest predeceased) and Maurice (wife Rita). Also cherished by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Roussel was a member of Club 50 and Knights of Columbus Council 6258. After retiring from Falconbridge in 1995, he enjoyed early morning walks to meet friends for coffee and spending time with his family.The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 13th, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St-Joseph Church in Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to the Northern Cancer Foundation or a charity of your choice would greatly be appreciated. “In sickness and in health, until death do us part.“ Rest in peace.
