ROUTHIER, Doris

July 26, 2010 68

ROUTHIER, Doris Bernadette (née Larivière) - In loving memory of Doris Bernadette Routhier (née Larivière), 68 years. It is with profound sadness that the family announces her passing on Saturday, July 24th, 2010 at the Maison Vale Inco Hospice, Sudbury. Beloved wife of Germain Routhier of Sudbury. Cherished mother of Joanne (husband Gaetan Paquette) of Garson, Carole (husband Jeff St. Jacques) of Sudbury and Nicole (husband Mike Marion) of Garson. Treasured mémère of Julie (Glenn), Danielle (Grégoire), Mathieu and Nicholas. Dear daughter of Bernard Larivière predeceased and Yolande (Caya) (husband Marcel Charette deceased) of Sudbury. Loving sister of Viviane Bell (Bill) of Garson, Denise Robillard (Laurent) of Sudbury and Robert Charette predeceased 1999. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who were blessed to know her. She was a remarkable woman of great strength and courage and devoted secretary for 30 years at Laurentian University. To know Doris was to know the magnitude of the love and generosity that she unselfishly gave to family and friends. Every get together was a celebration that included an abundance of food, laughter, games and countless memories. Doris fully enjoyed the simple things in life such as shopping with her girls and watching sunsets with her husband at camp on Trout Lake. Her unmatched sense of humor and stories will forever be etched in our hearts. It was only fitting and with much respect, that the family ensured her passing in the same way, surrounded by those she loved and now at peace with a choir of angels. Memorial Funeral Mass celebrated at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church Notre Dame Ave. (at Kathleen St.) Sudbury Thursday, July 29th, 2010 at 10:00 am Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium Interment of her cremains at Sudbury Roman Catholic Cemetery.
