Gilbert was a hard-working retired miner, loving and caring husband and father. He was passionate about fishing, hunting, camping and everything that went along with it. He hunted every year with his wife Helene by his side, along with all his brothers, sisters, and their spouses. He never missed an opportunity for a fishing or hunting excursion. He was also a sports enthusiast, if it was sport related, he was watching it. He especially enjoyed Saturday night Hockey with his great grandson Wyatt, joking, laughing, enjoying the game. He was a humours man, the class clown, the life of the party. There was never a shortage of jokes and laughter when Gil was in the room. Due to Covid, a mass and small celebration of life will be held at a future date. Arrangements have been entrusted with Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd.
