ROY, Isidore - (1925-2010) The family announces with sorrow his death at his residence in Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday August 11, 2010, at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Jean-Baptiste Roy and the late Virginie (née Brisson) Roy. Loving husband to Huguette Roy (née Lamarche), for 57 years. Dear father of Carole Roy Lecompte (Carl), Hubert (Joanne), Lynn Labelle (Robert) and Bruno (Lise-Anne) all of Sturgeon Falls. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 9 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Pamela, Tracy, Kevin, Chelsea, Patrick, Sophie, Natalie and Alain. Survived by his brother Roland (Thérèse) of Hagar. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Agnès Roy, Eva Cataford, Hélène Gauthier, Alphonse (Geneviève of Sudbury), Lionel (late Lucille), Victor (late Desneiges), Camille (Marguerite of Sturgeon Falls) and Annette Bédard (late Rhéal). Isidore owned and operated Roy""s Lumber in Hagar for many years. He was also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree, Father Huneault Assembly in Sturgeon Falls. The family will receive friends at the THEORET BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, Friday August 13th, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday August 14th, 2010 at 10:00 in Sacré-Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls.
