ROY, Thérèse (née Morel) - 1926-2012 The family announces with sorrow her death at Cassellholme, North Bay, Tuesday, April 10th 2012, at the age of 85 years. Daughter of the late Aldége Morel and the late Laura (née Fink) Morel. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Lachance and the late René Roy. Dear mother of Charles Lachance (Lynda) of Sturgeon Falls, Lise Hodges (Tom) of St-Catharines, Paul Lachance (Diane), Richard Lachance (Sandra) all of Callander. Also mother to Ronald Roy (Mary) of Sudbury, Lawrence Roy (Brenda), Paulette Argo (Bill) both of North Bay, James Roy (Gail) of Calgary - AB, Michael Roy of Oshawa, Daniel Roy (Gail) and Linda Groulx (Rhéal) all of Warren. Predeceased by sons Guy (Susan of Ponteix-Sask), and Mark. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by all her brothers and sisters. After a long and happy life, Therese's big heart gave out, used up by all the living, giving and loving she did during her 85 years. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at St-Thérèse d'Avila Church, Cache Bay, Saturday April 14th 2012, from 10:15am. A memorial service will follow at 11am. Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Salvation Army would be appreciated (cheques only).
