RUMLEY, Thomas - In Loving Memory of Thomas F. Wm. Rumley Sr. 67 years Saturday, February 11th, 2012 at Health Sciences North. Beloved husband and soulmate to Eleanor Rumley (Piper). Cherished father to Terry, Lorrie (Rod Michaud), Tom (Tammy) and David (Kim). Cherished grandfather of Jessica, Natalie, Brandon, Meggan, Christopher, Ben, Dawson, Skyler and Makayla and great grandfather to Morgan, Brady and Max. Loving son of Maurice and Evelyn Rumley predeceased and cherished son in law of Stan and Edna Piper predeceased. Dear brother of Allan Rumley predeceased. Special brother in life to Barry and Rita Brown. Tom was born and raised in North Bay where he married Eleanor (Piper) in 1972. The same year they moved to Sudbury, settling in Azilda the next year. He had been a miner for 15 years then worked at the Refinery for 17 years, retiring from INCO with 32 years service. Always quick to help others, Tom had been a volunteer firefighter in Rayside-Balfour for 22 years. Tom was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, travelling and RVing. He was devoted to his family. The light of his life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Sudbury Wednesday, February 15th, 2012 at 11:30am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
