SAUVÉ, Cecile (née Lacasse) - With great sorrow, the family announces the passing of Cecile at the age of 88 years on December 18th, 2012, at Health Sciences North. Predeceased (in 1973) by her husband Leonard Sauvé, born in Alexandria. Mother of Ida of Chelmsford. Daughter of the late Adelard and Ida (née Gauthier) Lacasse. Predeceased by siblings and in-laws: Marie Ange Rancourt (Victor), Ernest (Violet), Aimé (Irene), Yvette Zinger (Emmanuel), Alice Porlier (Gilbert), Fernand (Juliette), Edouard, Lucien (Anna), Annette Wittig (Francis), Royal, Richard (Hugette), Pierre and Bernadette (at birth). Sadly missed by sister-in-law Anna Guenette, many nieces, nephews and friends. Always happy to have relatives visit, playing cards and winning was her favourite pastimes. The household pet “Sadi“ will miss all the extra treats. Many thanks to the Dialysis staff on the 9th floor, for all the care given to Cecile for the past 6 years. A special thank you to Dr. Goluch for his compassion and assistance. Thank you to all the staff, nurses and Dr. Singh of the 6th floor, for making her last month bearable, your patience, care and kindness are appreciated. A celebration of her life was held at St-Joseph's Church on Errington St, in Chelmsford on Friday, December 21st, 2012 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) can be made to the Dialysis Department of Health Sciences North, Sudbury.
