SAVAGE, Lucille (née Duhamel) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, October 10, 2010 at the age of 75 years. Daughter of the late Léon and of the late Rose (née Cardinal) Duhamel. Beloved wife of Lionel “Len“ Savage of Sudbury. Loving mother of Nicole Rousselle (Jim) of Val Caron, Colette Savage (friend Gérald Lepage) of Ottawa and Michael Savage of Montreal. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Christine, Michelle, Jennifer, PJ, Josée and her great grandson Daniel. Dear sister of Roland Duhamel (Helga) of Val Caron, Normand Duhamel (Claire) of Collingwood, Rhéal Duhamel (Suzanne) of Sudbury, Denise Demers (Al) of Mindemoya, Jeannette Bennett (Ray) of Whitefish, Hélène Mathieu (Ernest) of Calgary and Sister Réjeanne Duhamel (s.c.o.) of Cameroon, Africa. Predeceased by her sister Rachelle McColeman (Ray of St-Charles). Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive family and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 9 a.m. in St. Dominique Church, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation or the Sudbury Regional Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
