SBREGA, Henry “Hank“ - In loving memory of Henry “Hank“ Sbrega, 89 years. Peacefully Saturday, April 20th, 2013 at Health Sciences North with his loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Irene (Ranta) Sbrega. Loving father of Nancy Di Carlantonio (husband Ricco), Caroline Sbrega (friend Gary Mauro) and Danny Sbrega. Cherished grandfather of Ricco, Melissa and David. Dear son of Leo and Nina (Colasimone) Sbrega predeceased. Dear brother of Virginia MacDonald (husband Laurie predeceased), Armand Sbrega predeceased (wife Delphine) and Frances Sologuk (husband Larry). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and his canine buddies Molly and Teko. Hank was a life long resident of Capreol, a true gentleman and friend to all who proudly served his Country in World War II. He worked as a conductor with the CN Rail for 36yrs. A hard-working man in all aspects and a community minded individual who gave his heart and soul to the town. He was an avid gardener, which gave him great pleasure and peace of mind. “Cumba“ loved the game of hockey and was known for his finesse on the ice as well as the dance floor. He nurtured and cherished his wife, children and grandchildren with kindness and love. In our hearts forever. Till we meet again. . .Salute! A Memorial Legion Service will be held at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Dr., Hanmer, Thursday, April 25th, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. followed by a service of celebration and words of remembrance. Friends may gather after 2:30 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations to the NCF-Regional Cancer Program, NCF- Sam Bruno PET Scan Fund, Northern Heritage Railway Museum or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
