SCARR, Glenn Carson - In Loving Memory of Glenn Carson Scarr 56 years Sunday, February 12th, 2012 at his home, with his wife, children, and dear friend Heather Gordon all at his side, after bravely and courageously battling cancer since 2003. Beloved husband of Nina (Boyko) Scarr of Hanmer. Loving father of Carson David and Ashley Tetiana. Dear son of Mervyn and Mollie Scarr both predeceased. Dear brother of Debbie (Frank Chiappetta) of Allentown, PA, Roger (Jan) of Barrie and Garry (Brenda) of London. Dear nephew of Hazel Scott of Newmarket. Sadly missed by nieces, nephew, great nephew, and cousins in Canada and England. Born in Sudbury, he was raised in Burwash. Glenn worked as an electrician at Vale, retiring in 2010. An avid outdoorsman and proprietor of the Glenn Carson Hunt Club. A father is a little boy's first hero and a little girl's first love; he was a devoted father to both of his children, their biggest supporter at the Copper Cliff Curling Club. Glenn leaves a wonderful legacy of love, he leaves behind many special friends and now joins family and friends. At Glenn's request there will be no public visitation. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Cremation. Donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME.
