SCULLY, Claire Hélène (née Pigeon) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the age of 87 years. Daughter of the late Elzéar and the late Azélie (née Fortier) Pigeon. Wife of the late Louis J. Scully. Beloved mother to Adèle Landry (Richard) of Estaire, Annette Hoop and Robert Scully both of Sudbury, Ronald Scully (France) of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta and Norman Scully of Portland, Oregon, USA. Dear sister of Aline Metcalfe (late Bob) of Peterborough and André Pigeon (Mayva) of Azilda and sister-in-law of John Scully (Thérèse) of Ottawa. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters: René, Laurent Louis, Benoit, Noëlla, Lucille, Laurette, Edmée, Gabrielle, Antoinette and Carmelle. Also predeceased by her brothers-in-law Albert (Madeleine of Cobalt), Leo and her sister-in-law Theresa. Cherished grandmother to Michael Landry, Christine Smith, Kelly Anne Hoop, Eric Hoop, Allison Scully, Michelle Scully and great-grandmother to Kirsten Smith, Courtney Smith, Kaleb Smith and Sean Scully. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family wishes to express its heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Puranum and the staff on 6th floor south tower at Health Sciences North for their care and compassion towards Claire. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Saturday, January 21st, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 12 (Noon) and 1 to 2:30p.m. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 3p.m. in St-Dominique church, Sudbury.
