SHAWERA, Mark Edward - In Loving Memory of Mark Edward Shawera. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Edward Shawera in the afternoon on Sunday, March 27th, 2011 in Toronto at the age of 50 with loving family by his side. Beloved son of Rita (Pepin) Shawera of Sudbury and Wladek “Eddie“ Shawera (predeceased 2007). Loving brother of Julie (husband Dennis Wilson predeceased 1997) and Suzanne both of Sudbury and Michelle (husband Rob Hansuk) of Sherwood Park, Alberta. Cherished uncle and godfather of Kelsey. Dear nephew of Laurette Chassé (husband Lucien predeceased), Lucy Campbell (husband Allan predeceased), Bernadette Chassé, Alice Bujold, Cora Pepin, Tony Pepin (wife Ramona), Antoinette Valotaire, Leo Pepin (wife Monique), Simone Bilodeau, Marielle Poulin (husband Leon), Andrée Labelle (predeceased), Rene Pepin, and also Anthony Shawera, Peter Shawera and Benjamin Shawera (all predeceased). Dearly and sadly missed by many, many cousins. Born in Iroquois Falls, Ontario on November 9th, 1960 and growing up for most of his younger years in Sudbury, Mark moved to Toronto after graduating high school from Sudbury Secondary School and attended the University of Toronto and York University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and his M.B.A. Mark was a research and internet consultant. Mark was beloved by many friends in Sudbury and Toronto, as well as those in many other places across North America. Mark will be remembered for his kindness, compassion, willingness to help others, his passion for music and last but not least, his dogs. We will all hold him in a special place in our hearts. Memorial Visitation in the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Memorial Mass in St. Jean de Brebeuf 26 Kathleen St., Sudbury Friday, April 8th, 2011 at 10:30am. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Civic Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Educational Trust Fund for Kelsey Shawera or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2-4; 6-9pm Thursday).
